Privacy Policy

1. Who I am

The Problem-First Method is published and sold by Kevin Dias, an individual seller. You can reach me at kevin@problem-first-method.com.

2. What I collect

• Your email address, when you request the free sample or buy the eBook.
• Payment data, which is collected directly by Stripe. I never see or store your card details; I only retain the Stripe session and payment-intent identifiers for my own records.
• Purchase metadata: amount, currency, status, and the expiration date of your download link.
• Email delivery metadata, through Resend, so I can confirm that emails were sent.
• Marketing preference: whether you opted in to receive occasional emails about book updates and new releases, and the date you opted in. Unchecked by default.

3. Why I collect it

I use this information to deliver the product you requested, process refunds, respond to support questions, and — only if you opted in — send occasional emails about book updates and new releases. I do not sell your data, and I do not share it with anyone other than the processors listed below.

4. Who I share it with

I rely on the following third-party processors to run the site. Each handles your data under its own privacy policy.

• Supabase — database and private file storage for the eBook files.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — email delivery.
• Vercel — web hosting.
• Google Analytics — aggregated site-usage analytics (Google LLC).

5. Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use it. Google Analytics sets cookies (typically named _ga and _ga_*) and collects aggregated information such as the pages you view, the referring URL, your approximate geographic location, device and browser type, and time spent on the site. IP addresses are anonymized. I do not send personally identifying information (your email, name, or payment details) to Google Analytics.

You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by using your browser's private/incognito mode. My host, Vercel, may also set a small number of functional cookies required for deployment and security.

6. Data retention

I keep purchase records indefinitely for tax and accounting purposes. I keep your email address for as long as you may need support. You can request deletion of your email address at any time by writing to kevin@problem-first-method.com.

7. Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you can ask me to access, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you, or to give you a copy of it. Send your request to kevin@problem-first-method.com from the address on file, and I will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children

The Problem-First Method is not intended for children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given me information, please contact me and I will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I will update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. Material changes will be announced through that same update.
